Birthday Celebrations

I booked Questeds for a birthday staycation. It exceeded my expectations. From the start Andy was very responsive and helpful, answered all questions promptly, checked in in the run up to the booking to make sure all was ok and I had everything I needed. On arrival we were greeted by Marina the housekeeper who showed us around the house. The pictures did not do it justice. Very well equipped, the kitchen had every amenity you could need, the Sonos sound system in each room took things to the next level musicwise. Heating was easily controlled from a screen monitor. The hot tub was more like a swimming pool, massive! There were 8 of us and we only took up half the space. Loads of room for everyone to sleep in the beautifully decorated bedrooms. The dining room made our evening dinner special with its formal set up. The bathrooms were enormous and there are 5 in the house! Even had makeup lights on the mirrors. Towels had already been neatly laid out. Honestly I could go on and on.

Family 70th Birthday Celebration

Paul August 2022 Eleven family members (children and adults) stayed for 2 nights to celebrate two 70th birthdays. From start to finish everything was made easy for us. Communication with Andy and Marina (his house keeper) was excellent and the instruction manuals and videos were clear and well presented. The very large kitchen area was great for big gatherings and much fun was had in the spa with multi coloured lighting and the surrounding area. The fact that so many consumables ( soap, shampoo, conditioner, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, newspapers, flowers etc etc) were provided was a blessing. Beds were comfortable and the house was clean. We couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you Andy.

A Weekend in the UK

Me and some mates decided to do a weekend away on home soil, instead of abroad due to covid and the drama at airports lately. From the off Andy was helpful. He met us at the station, took us on the tour of the house and showed us how everything worked. The house was clean, garden was nice with a big hot tub. The local shops were a stone throw away and Margate was just down the road. Andy just left us too it and was only a call away if we needed any help with anything. All in all we had a great few days there.

Family Memories

We loved our stay at Quested House, it is perfect for a gathering of friends or family. The house has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing weekend away. The secluded beautiful setting gives the house a great deal of privacy and we particularly enjoyed the bbq and hot spa in the large front garden. The bedrooms were all a great size also. Location wise it is well connected to the many beaches and villages around it, only a 20 min drive or so. Andy was a great host, very helpful, polite and friendly. Definitely recommended!

Amazing Time

Amazing house. Honestly enjoyed the facilities. The hospitality was of great standards. Fast response, informative videos great little touches especially in the kitchen. The hot tub is way bigger than the pictures such a beautiful feature. Used the steam room several times while listening to great music on Sonos system. The dinning area is impressive really brought the family together and comfortable. The room sizes are great, very spacious. The kitchen features the most beautiful island that was a great gathering area, wide open and bright. The care package in bathrooms were the icing on the cake facial wipes , cottons and ear buds were a cute touch. Thank you Andy for a wonderful stay

Family Reunion

Andy was an extremely communicative and helpful host, giving us lots of advice on things to do before we arrived and a warm welcome with a tour of the house when we got there. We had a family reunion with 16 of us staying there for three nights and it was the perfect size for all of us. Since there were lots of kids we also appreciated the proximity to the beach and Dreamland at Margate. The kids also had a wonderful time in the hot tub every single day! Golfing Break

We used this property to celebrate our friend's 40th which included several rounds of Golf. Andy welcomed us with bottles of fizz which was a lovely touch. The property is huge and in an excellent location, a short walk to both the station and Margate beach. The house is centrally located for several LINKS golf courses which we thoroughly enjoyed. The house is well equipped and the hot tub was cleaned daily throughout our short stay. I cannot say enough nice things about this place and the host - Thanks Andy x

Wellbeing Retreat

I held a wellbeing retreat at Andy's place with a group of women over the May bank holiday and we had a wonderful time! The house is great and so good for large groups, the spa is extra special, using Sonos throughout the house for music was a great touch, and the kitchen is a pleasure to use. Andy responded instantly to any questions I had which was really appreciated and meant our weekend went smoothly! Loved it and would definitely recommend.

The Wow Factor Group Staycation

Fantastic stay. The house has got the "wow" factor and the rest of our party, who had known nothing of what to expect, were blown away by it. People didn't want to leave at the end of the weekend. The house is perfect for what we needed, (friends reunion) but has flexibility and I could see it being used for all sorts of events.

"The garden is massive (which was a surprise as it is not in the pictures), the hot tub was a treat and the projector room works brilliantly (we watched the cricket for hours). The kitchen is huge and really well laid out and all the rooms are a great size."

"Andy was incredibly helpful, really fast at responding to any requests and went the extra yard with helping me organise it, providing recommendations of places to go and go and showing amazing flexibility around check in and check out times. He met me there, took in out Ocado shop for us (which had arrived early) and ensured that everything was sorted."

"The house itself has a killer location, literally 3/4 mins walk from the station, 5 min cab ride form Margate (which you can also walk in about 30 mins I think (I didn't do it myself but the others did)). The house is really well connected but when you are there it feels really secluded. All in all I would highly recommend this house and Andy as a host to anyone for almost any event.

Andy's place is just lovely. The house is very spacious with a gorgeous kitchen and lots of space to spread out. Several bedrooms have en suite bathrooms which was great. The hot tub is really fantastic. It has a sitting end that fits 6 and a standing end which is like a little plunge pool. We loved it! The house is just around the corner from the station and a short walk to the beach. We walked into Margate on Saturday which was really handy. It takes about 30 mins. Andy was very helpful with everything. We changed the number in our party several times and asked to change check-in and check-out times too. He was very accommodating with all of it. He even waited for us for 30 mins (sorry Andy!) when we got stuck in Easter weekend traffic. We would all thoroughly recommend Questeds!

We had 14 of us stay for the weekend and had and absolutely wonderful time.. Quested house was much bigger than we had expected and the hot tub was huge, easily fitting 10 of us.. Loved the massive dinning table, the open fires and the general Mia of old and new.. The big kitchen with a huge center island was great for us to sit round and spend quality time talking and playing games.. The Sonos sound system around the house, the projector and wide screen were all great touches.. not forgetting the 2 en-suites and the steam room. And finally the privacy of the location and the lovely views, big garden, patio.. list can go on! Thank you again for letting us use your wonderful place.

From the beginning of my enquiry into the property and until the moment we left the property the experience has been five star! The property is incredible and is in fact even better than the photos, particularly the kitchen living space. The facilities are outstanding, Jacuzzi, shower steam, kitchen appliances, just everything is perfect. They also had some added extras as in a free gift and useful items for the weekend ahead. Myself and the other 11 guests had a weekend we will never forget. We are grateful we found this gem and urge you to book so you can enjoy and make lasting memories like ours. Went above and beyond our expectations 5*.

We had a superb weekend at Questeds! Everyone enjoyed themselves to the max! The kitchen is very well equipped, catering for 16 was a breeze, and everyone appreciated the coffee machine! The hot tub is next level! It's not everyday you can fit the whole group can fit in at once! The house is very spacious, with ample bathrooms, and comfortable sized bedrooms. I cannot recommend this house enough for groups of 10-16."

"We had a bbq one night - Andy kindly came to check that we had enough gas, and brought more to us. He left us a very generous welcome gift, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We didn't want our weekend to end! Very very close to westgate station which was really handy for some guests! And also a very easy walk to the beach!

Myself and group of 11 friends rented Andy's wonderful home to celebrate me turning 30. From the start, Andy was a great host and dropped me a call to help me plan the weekend by giving me recommendations and tips of the local area. Unfortunately, Andy wasn't there to meet us as he was away with work but he made sure someone was there to welcome us and show us around the property before leaving us to our own devices."

"Andy had kindly left us a couple of bottles of champagne, as well as some cheeses and meats which I thought was a great touch and was definitely not expected. The house was beautiful and kept very clean and tidy, with all the bedrooms being perfect which made for a great night sleep. The jacuzzi was quite possibly the biggest I have ever seen and was perfect for our group. Lots of time was spent in here, especially with the weather being an impressive 20 degrees - very lucky for mid October!"

"With there being many rooms to socialise in, I thought the kitchen was a really great space to sit around and chat, have a few drinks and listen to music. All I would say is we had a little problem with the Sonos speakers as they kept cutting in and out (I find this happens a lot with Sonos and is a common problem) After speaking with Andy, we worked out that by playing them a little quieter, the problem disappeared. We also really liked the fact that music could be played throughout the whole house!"

There is also Westgate-on-sea train station 1 min walk from the house as well as cafes, and local shops to stock up on food & drink. Amazing house really well located for the train station and the beach. Where to start…Andy's house is absolutely incredible. If you are looking for a place for a group weekend away, look no further! I cannot speak highly enough of our weekend here. The house – Huge bedrooms, slept 13 of us comfortably. Great layout and lots of space for everyone in every room."

"A huge kitchen which has everything you need and more. 2 sitting rooms, 1 with a projector that is amazing. (We watched the rugby on it in the daylight and the quality was brilliant.) Large garden which is beautiful and quiet and has a hot tub and a barbecue (which Andy sorted out for us.)"

"It is so easy to get to and it is literally a 4 minute walk to the station but you feel like you're in the middle of nowhere once you're there. It is also 3 minutes on the train or 5 minutes in a cab to Margate. Andy was a perfect host."

"The house itself has everything you could need and then some. There are separate listings for the rooms (if the whole house hasn't already been booked by a large group). Our spacious room was situated on the top floor, which we had to ourselves on this trip, meaning we pretty much had free reign of the big bathroom."

"My only word of warning here - concerning the top floor - would be for anyone who is especially tall. I'm 6"2, 6"3ish and had about an inch of space between my head and the ceiling, so anyone taller may find that to be an issue worth considering."

"If you're planning on spending most of your stay in Margate, don't let the location of this property put you off. The town is easily accessible via bus and train, with bus stops very nearby to the front entrance, while the train station is little more than a hop, skip and a jump away from the rear garden. Thoroughly recommended.

Staying at Andy's was a delight. If anything, the room and the house exceeded even our high expectations - clean, quiet, modern kitchen, bathroom etc (looked newly renovated) and we took full advantage of the steam spa and excellent outdoor hot tub."

"The location is very quiet, but 2 minutes from the train station for access from London and to the rest of the area. We didn't really explore Westgate apart from a great Sunday brunch we had next to the station on our way back to London, but Margate, with plenty of food/entertainment options, was only a five minute journey by train."

"Easily found on the main road into Margate, Westgate station is 2-3 mins walk away out the back gate, and the sandy beach 8 mins away. We have just had the most memorable weekend staying at Andy's house with friends. The house was beautiful and a lot larger than expected, equipped with absolutely everything you would need. The hot tub is really big and deep, so almost felt like a swimming pool - it was the real highlight for our group. The sound system was also amazing and is installed throughout the house so you can listen to music wherever you are. We had a wonderful stay and would certainly recommend this place for large groups. We didn't leave the house but it's very close to the beach / train station, so a real plus.

We had such a great time at Andy’s place - the house is fab with so much space and such a great location being such a short trip into Margate. We really enjoyed staying at Andy's house. From the start he was a great host, responding to any queries and taking time before we arrived to go through our questions. the house itself was everything we wanted. a gorgeous property with lots of character which looked better in real life than the pictures! we were two families and we enjoyed the hot tub, the projector cinema screen and the enormous garden. the house had loads of extra towels, bedding and a very well stocked kitchen. the location was also fantastic. literally 10 minutes walk to the beach. we would definitely go back

We booked Quested house for my girlfriends birthday for 2 nights. It honestly exceeded all expectations. This house has absolutley everything you could want. Excellent facilities, super clean and a great location. Andy the host was brilliant. He really went the extra mile to make sure our weekend was perfect. Will definitley return in the future!
